Working with Vail Sitters has been a great and fun experience. Not only do nannies get to meet guests from all around the world, they also get to help make sure the families have a great visit to the area. I love the way Vail Sitters scheduling is set up, it’s convenient for all Nannys. You only take nanny jobs when you sign up to. For someone who has another job or crazy schedule but could use an extra income, Vail Sitters has been great. They pay great and the work is fun!
I have worked for Vail Sitters as a nanny for a few months now – I can’t believe I didn’t sign up sooner. It is super convenient (you make your own schedule) and it is nice to have extra pocket money. The families I have worked for are very nice and the children are well behaved. Overall, it has been a great side job.
I do not usually take the time to write a review online but I felt compelled to write this review for Vail Sitters. I used Vail Sitters while on a ski trip in Beaver Creek. One of my children caught a cold and with the altitude, he also needed oxygen along with a nebulizer. It was quite frightening having to visit an ER while on vacation in the mountains. Our babysitter that night watched our other son so we can take our sick child to the ER. She even offered us her car to use. When our son was feeling better, I called the agency to find a sitter to watch my son so my husband and I can squeeze in a ski run. They did everything they could to find me an experienced sitter that was willing and able to administer oxygen. All three of the sitters we used were outstanding. They were kind, compassionate and supportive. A few of the other agencies I called would not even speak to me when they heard my son was ill. Vail Sitters was there when I really needed some assistance and help. From a mom who is very hands on with her children, does not use agencies typically, and is very selective who she leaves her children with, I highly recommend them and would use them again and again.
